Hi, I’m Zane
I’m a producer, mixer and songwriter based in the Spokane area, and I’m really glad you’re here.
Music has been my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing in bands, loading gear onto stages and playing any show that would have us. Those years taught me a lot, including how it feels to pour everything into your songs and then hear a recording that doesn’t sound like you. I never want a band to go through that, and it’s a big reason I do what I do.
These days I work mostly on rock and metal, from metalcore to hardcore and everything in between. I do full production, recording, mixing and songwriting. I’m a total nerd about the details, from chasing the right guitar tone to getting drums to sound huge. But the part I love most is the people. Every band that comes through has its own story and sound, and I want to help bring out what makes you you, not turn you into someone else.
When we work together, I want it to feel like you’re hanging out with a friend who really cares about your music. We’ll try ideas, be honest with each other and push to make something we’re both proud of. You can expect a record that represents you and all the work your band has put in.
